Update

Good afternoon,

As we head into the summer months, I know many people across Thanet will be making the most of our beaches. While this is a great time for the community, we do typically see an increase in anti-social behaviour.

I want to reassure you that we will be taking a zero-tolerance approach to this. Officers were out in force over the recent bank holiday and half-term period, with dispersal powers in place to deal with those whose behaviour was impacting others’ enjoyment.

If you experience or witness any issues on the beaches this summer, please take the time to report them to us. This information is vital in helping us respond effectively and manage any problems.
